These can be obtained by prior agreement with the doctor. Drugs not shown on the right hand side of your last prescription cannot be normally issued through the prescription line service.
Hand in or post your slip (with SAE if you wish) indicating which items you require. Alternatively you can leave a message on the answering machine: 01224 849749.
Your prescription may be delivered to certain chemists in the Aberdeen area by arrangement.
Your prescription will be ready 2 working days later.
If ordering your prescription on a Friday or Saturday your prescription will not be ready to collect until Tuesday after 2.00pm.
It is inadvisable to continue taking certain preparations over a prolonged period of time. It is therefore a good idea to have your regular prescriptions reviewed at least once a year.
Prescriptions are produced by computer. The system lets the doctor know when a review of your medicines and condition is required, and you may be asked to attend for such review by a doctor or nurse through a note attached to the right side of your prescription.
Email Prescription Requests
We have introduced an email service as another way to order repeat prescriptions. You can email the address listed below and order medication in exactly the same way as you would have previously done with either the phone or repeat ordering slips. Please be sure that we can identify you from patients with similar names, so include your
Full Name, Date of Birth, Address and a Contact Number and what prescription is requested. Please keep your message brief, to enable us to process requests as quickly as possible.

ABSOLUTLEY NO CLINICAL CORRESPONDANCE WILL BE ENTERED INTO VIA THE EMAIL PRESCRIPTION SERVICE. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SYSTEM FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN ORDERING REPEAT PRESCIPTIONS. Patients who persistantly misuse the system will be asked not to use it.
